B. Alice Design, founded in 2021, is owned and managed by Jocelyn, a self-taught woodworker with a passion for creativity. With a rich background in various artistic mediums, Jocelyn collaborates with her husband Greg, who specializes in metalwork, as well as their daughters Elise, who handles social media and photography, and Kylie, the market sales boss. Located in Elkton, Maryland, our workshop is where we strive to create pieces that not only enhance your spaces but also tell a personal story with every cut, carve and finish.

Where does the B. Alice Design Co. name come from?
B. Alice is in loving memory of our youngest daughter, Bexley Alice. Our sweet baby Bex passed away unexpectedly at 7mo old, she is so dearly missed. Her loss was absolutely devastating, how does a healthy, strong, sweet girl go to daycare one day and not come home? Unfortunately we will never truly have answers.
My husband and I still needed to keeping moving and getting up, to be present for our two older daughters, so we had to find outlets to channel our grief. For him it was car projects, for me it became woodworking. We try to find ways to honor her name and keep her memory as part of everything we do going forward, so B. Alice Design Co was created. Gone but never forgotten, loved always and forever.
